is holding a mini contest! I thought it would be fun to pass it along for anyone interested. It's for members only, but it's really easy to join.

The contest is a Holiday one, basically, you have to write something or draw something that consists of an alien somehow involved in a holiday taking place between November 21st-January 2nd. It's not reduced to just Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years either. It also includes Hannukah and Yule, and any other holiday that takes place between those dates of any belief or non-belief. The alien can be fanart/fanfiction, or original but it has to somehow be involved with or partaking of a holiday between the dates.

Winner gets their image displayed on the front of the club until the next contest is announced. Isn't that special? The contest begins November 21st and ends December 23rd...just in time for Christmas.

It sounds like a lot of fun, and if anyone else wants to enjoy it, give a note to let them know you want to join the club and partake of the contest.



On another note, my ankle is scratchy and all magenta colored. Stupid bruises. I'm able to put a LITTE weight on it if I stay on the ball of my foot, but can't walk flat on it yet. We're getting ready to take Ritsuka to see my Gramma for the week while my hubby stays home with Applejack and gets the house spotless clean. She knows clean and he has to meet her approval LOL. He has his work cut out for him before Thanksgiving.

I'll likely be staying at Gramma's for a while since I can't very well keep walking around or afford the gas to go back and forth. Hopefully I'll feel inspired to finish some more artwork and write in my novels some more. Hey, btw, for those faving the snippets, would you be so kind as to leave some sort of feedback too?

And if anyone ever finds the Clothes Hanger Monster, tell him to return all my missing clothes hangers so I can actually put my laundry away. I know I had enough hangers to hang up every article of clothing that needed to be hung...now I'm lucky to have THREE hangers. Apparently the sock monster is now into hangers.
